The Dunbartonshire Disability Sports Club was created by the local community in March 2010 and is run by a management committee of volunteers.

Our aims are:

  1. To raise awareness and profile of disability sports.
  2. To provide weekly physical activity sessions for it’s members to develop social, motor and cognitive skills.
  3. To improve our members sense of belonging.
  4. To provide much needed respite opportunities for parents and carers.
  5. To improve cooperation among local sports organisations.
  6. To offer volunteering opportunities for the local community.

We would like to welcome anyone age 5 and over to come and enjoy playing games and sports. The club operates from St Peter the Apostle High School, Clydebank on Saturdays, 10am – 12pm.

The club is delighted to announce the support of Jackie Baillie, MSP for Dumbarton who has agreed to be the club's Honorary President.

The Dunbartonshire Disability Sports Club was awarded Charitable Status by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator in February 2014.
